Sebastian Copeland’s climate neutral Legacy Crossing in Antarctica: Voting for the “Adventurer of the Year 2012”

Environmental activist and photographer Sebastian Copeland and his partner Eric McNair-Landry completed the first east-west transcontinental crossing of Antarctica on skis and kites. They covered the 4,100 kilometers in 82 days on January 23, 2012. The trip was climate neutral thanks to ClimatePartner. Carbon emissions caused by flights and transports of the expedition have been offset by supporting a forestry project in Sofala, Mozambique.

On January 24, 2013, the adventurer with the most votes will be crowned EpicTV Adventurer of the Year and receive €5000 towards his next project.
