With ClimatePartner's climate action solutions, companies in Italy will be able to offer products with the "climate neutral" label

ClimatePartner expands its international market presence to Italy, confirming its claim to be a global partner for climate action.

Under the lead of Giorgio Bertolini, Sales Manager Italy at ClimatePartner, a local team and an office in Milan will be established to directly support companies in Italy in actively tackling and implementing climate action. Bertolini has several years of experience in various companies in the digital and food industries, where he was responsible for sales, product and business development.

In establishing and deepening business relations with new and existing customers in Italy, Bertolini can build on ClimatePartner's constantly expanding range of services. This is based on more than 15 years of experience in corporate climate action and ranges from the calculation of a carbon footprint and the subsequent process of climate neutralisation to support in setting science-based targets for carbon reduction, the initiation of certified carbon offset projects and activities in the field of green energy.

Giorgio Bertolini: „Per capita emissions in Italy are currently around 7.3 t CO₂, several times higher than the little more than 1 t that is theoretically available in the CO₂ budget per capita. With the help of ClimatePartner's climate action solutions, companies in Italy will be able to also offer products with the internationally recognised "climate neutral" label and thus contribute to tackling climate change.” 

Further international expansion planned for this year
