RATHGEBER in Oberhaching steht für hochwertige und vielseitige Kennzeichnungslösungen für Marketing und Technik. Dazu gehört alles, was irgendwie klebt oder sich auf Produkte, Textilien oder Maschinen anbringen lässt: Etiketten, Folien, Metall-, Acryl- oder Kunststoffschilder, Blenden, 3D-Logos, Embleme, Schriftzüge, RFID/NFC, Produktpersonalisierung etc. Seit 70 Jahren fertigt die Firmengruppe solche Kennzeichnungen für Industrie, Handel und Dienstleistung.

Alle Produkte werden klimaneutral produziert. Dabei vermeidet RATHGEBER CO2-Emissionen, wo immer es geht. Zum Beispiel durch Wärmerückgewinnung, geschlossene Wasserkreisläufe in der Kühlung und in den Waschanlagen, eine eigene Photovoltaikanlage, modernste Kältemitteltechnologie, Verdichteranlagen zur Transportoptimierung in der Entsorgung, UV-Technologie ohne Lösemittel, Computer-to-Screen ohne Druckfilme oder durch ein Mobilitätskonzept mit E-Mobilität, Fahrrad-Leasing, Fahrgemeinschaften.

Klimaneutral werden die Produkte und die gesamte Unternehmensgruppe durch ein Klimaschutzprojekt mit Kochöfen in Uganda. Darüber gleicht RATHGEBER alle übrigen, unvermeidbaren Emissionen aus. In diesem Projekt werden die traditionell üblichen, aber ineffizienten Holz- und Holzkohlekochstellen in Uganda durch saubere und effiziente Kochöfen ersetzt. So sparen die Familien Feuerholz und stoßen um ein Vielfaches weniger CO2 aus. Gleichzeitig sind sie beim Kochen wesentlich weniger Schadstoffen ausgesetzt, was die Gesundheitsprobleme durch Atemwegserkrankungen insbesondere bei den Frauen und Kindern deutlich senkt.
