Carbon offset projects
It started with the Hydro Effect Serum. That was the first lavera natural cosmetic to protect not only wearers’ skin against environmental influences, but also the environment through the folding box packaging. For lavera natural cosmetics deliberately selects packaging material with the aim of being lighter and more efficient while also meeting their cosmetics quality standards. For example, tubes have been given thinner walls, the amount of paper used has been consistently reduced, and boxing is now only used for facial care. The emissions yielded by the folding boxes for facial care products and gift boxes are offset. To do so, lavera natural cosmetics supports water treatment projects in Kenya.
Today all lavera natural cosmetics are climate neutral products – including raw materials, packaging, logistics and disposal. The entire laverana company is also climate neutral.
„Effective sustainability has many facets and is important not only for innovative lavera beauty care and the careful selection of natural ingredients. We need special packaging for natural cosmetics - product protection and cosmetic design are indispensable. The cooperation with the ClimatePartner projects has enabled us to become actively engaged in climate protection and development projects.“
