More and more retail chains prefer to list climate neutral products and also offer their own brands climate neutral. Furthermore, consumers become increasingly aware for climate protection. Companies, processes and products are per definition climate neutral, when their carbon emissions are calculated and later on offsetted through the support of internationally recognized climate protection projects.

For producers of consumer goods, the climate neutral packaging is a pragmatic option. In the majority of cases, a significant amount of the carbon emissions is found in the packaging – due to production processes, selection of raw materials, printing processes, transport etc.
