Improving lives through efficient household devices
Project development by ClimatePartner Impact
Gold Standard Programme of Activity launched in India
We are pleased to invite you to engage with us on the Programme of Activity (PoA) design consultation as well as the local stakeholder consultation of our 1st Voluntary Project Activity (VPA) on December 19, 2022, in Meghalaya, India.
ClimatePartner Impact GmbH is developing the planned Gold Standard Microscale Programme of Activities (mPoA) “Improving Lives Through Efficient Household Devices by ClimatePartner Impact’’ that will be implemented in India in the first phase, with possible extension to other countries in the near future. Our goal is to create nationwide access to Improved Cookstoves for low-income households in the countries the programme operates in.
The first few VPAs will involve the distribution of 15,000 fuel-efficient cookstoves in total to households cooking with firewood on traditional cookstoves. By the implementation of the project, traditional stoves (“Chullah”) will be replaced with project stoves that have higher efficiency, and the fuelwood consumption and related carbon emissions will be significantly reduced.
Together with our implementation partner, GHE Impact Ventures Pvt. Ltd., we invite stakeholders to provide feedback on this planned Gold Standard Microscale project “Improving Lives Through Efficient Household Devices by ClimatePartner Impact, VPA-1’’ that will be implemented in the state of Meghalaya, India.
