Climate neutral bestsellers: Publishers Ludwig Verlag and Gütersloher Verlagshaus

Ludwig Verlag and Gütersloher Verlagshaus now have climate neutral production. Both companies are part of the Random House GmbH publishing group. Ludwig Verlag is home to authors like Peter Wohlleben (“The Hidden Life of Trees” and “The Secret Network of Nature,” among other titles) and Elli H. Radinger (“The Wisdom of the Wolves”). Gütersloher Verlagshaus publishes the new works of Nina Ruge, Hubertus Meyer-Burckhardt, Frank Elstner, Matthias Reinschmidt, and Notker Wolf, to name just a few. That means books that have been rendered climate neutral with the help of ClimatePartner are now found on bestseller lists!

In order to facilitate climate-neutral production for all members of the Random House GmbH publishing group, a central ID was issued for each of the four internal publishing units. The ID numbers for proof and transparency of the carbon offset are merged centrally at ClimatePartner. That means customers can review the respective carbon offset project at any time.
