Gold Standard Program Activity launched in Nepal

We are pleased to invite you to engage with us on the second phase of the micro-scale programme of activity (mPoA) design consultation for our Gold Standard improved cookstoves programme in Nepal.

The ClimatePartner Foundation together with Die Ofenmacher e.V. is developing the planned Gold Standard microscale programme of activities (mPoA), “Improved cookstoves and healthy lives in Nepal”, which has started its first VPAs in the Nuwakot region. Now the PoA is expanding to the Salyan, Rolpa and Gulmi regions of Nepal and may expand to other regions in the future.
Our goal is to create access to Improved Cookstoves for low-income households all across the country.

The project is planned for retroactive registration and stove inclusion, and will operate at a scale of 15,000 improved cookstoves per year in this phase. As a result of this project, traditional stoves will be replaced with improved stoves with higher efficiency leading to reduced fuelwood consumption and related carbon emissions.

Please download the Key Project Information Document for further information and reach us directly via the email/phone or the contact form below before May 31st 2024 with your valuable feedback or suggestions.
