ClimatePartner renews partnership with CDP
March 12, 2020ClimatePartner has renewed its official partnership with CDP (www.cdp.net) for 2020 and can continue to support its clients in climate reporting according to CDP's requirements.
CDP, formerly known as the Carbon Disclosure Project, is a leading initiative for sustainability reporting. The international non-profit organization makes the environmental and climate protection commitment of companies and local authorities transparent and evaluates it according to a standardized scheme. More than 8,400 organizations took part in this process last year.
As an accredited CDP partner, ClimatePartner already supports numerous companies that take part in the CDP questionnaires or are in turn asked to report on them by their customers or investors.
Moritz Lehmkuhl, founder and managing director of ClimatePartner: "We want to make it as easy as possible for companies to face the CDP's assessment and to answer its questions in a meaningful and successful way. In addition, it is also important to us that companies benefit from it and develop effective climate strategies for themselves".
Referring to the renewal, CDP Managing Director Steven Tebbe comments: “CDP is pleased to renew the consultancy partnership with ClimatePartner for a further year. ClimatePartner has a strong track record working with companies responding to CDP and helping them to implement both good carbon management practices and sustainability into their organizations. We hope our partnership will continue to be a valuable resource to our responding companies.”
ClimatePartner's CDP offer includes the calculation or verification of the carbon balance, support in the development of a climate strategy, as well as comprehensive support in formulating answers and information to the CDP.
