The International Carbon Reduction and Offset Alliance (ICROA) elected Sascha Lafeld as one of seven members of its Executive Committee.

ICROA is a non-profit membership organisation and was established in 2008. It promotes strict transparency and integrity principles in the field of voluntary climate action, with ClimatePartner being an active member in the organisation.

The committee's main task will be to steer the organisation's activities, its focus and areas of action, drawing on the respective industry experience of its members and their companies. It consists of the following members:

Sascha, Head of Carbon Offset and Green Energy Services at ClimatePartner, has been active in climate action and green energy for more than 20 years, having been instrumental in developing and setting quality standards for the voluntary carbon offsetting market. In addition to his new task within ICROA Sascha is  also a member of the consulting group to the Taskforce on Scaling Volunatry Carbon Markets (TSVCM).
