Resource efficiency experts Christopher Buers and Frederik Pöschel join ClimatePartner

Since April 2020, Christopher Buers (36) and Frederik Pöschel (39) have been supporting us as new colleagues. They add extensive know-how in climate action technologies and resource efficiency to our expertise and also strengthen our presence in the northwest of Germany.

The two climate action experts come from the Efficiency Agency (EFA) of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, where they had spent several years advising companies in the manufacturing sector. In addition, in the context of carbon footprinting, they mainly worked on topics relating to the reduction and avoidance of carbon emissions and environmentally friendly product development (ecodesign).

Having already worked directly with ClimatePartner on individual projects in the past, the next step was a logical one: Both experts were so enthusiastic about our thematic focus and the approach of supporting companies in climate action in a pragmatic and sustainable way that they decided to join us as a team.

At ClimatePartner, the two family fathers focus on expanding our visibility and activities in the Northwest region of Germany, where they support companies in the fields of industry, trade and services. The focus is on sales and customer advisory services. In addition, both experts are involved in the activities of the ClimatePartner consulting team as well as in business development, further integrating the topics of carbon reduction and resource efficiency into our portfolio.

Resource efficiency includes both material and process as well as energy efficiency - important criteria for taking climate action into account right from the product design and planning stage. With this expertise, we at ClimatePartner are able to advise and support our customers even better when it comes to reducing the carbon emissions of their products. This allows for a comprehensive offer for climate protection, ranging from carbon footprint measures to reduction and compensation of unavoidable emissions.
