Innovative recipes, combined with social and environmental responsibility – that’s Revolution Tea. Revolution Tea has prioritized this value by, whenever possible, having Fairtrade-Certified teas, as well as using biodegradable tea bags with FSC-certified tea bag labels. To further their impact, Revolution Tea joined forces with ClimatePartner to calculate all the emissions produced by the full lifecycle of their tea products - from the sourcing of raw and packaging materials to the production process, transport to retailers, and end of life.

Revolution Tea takes full responsibility by financing climate projects for their unabated emissions of 655 tons of CO₂e. Revolution Tea supports the Wind Energy Project in Nashik India which generates approximately 12,530 megawatt hours of electricity per year and supports the creation of local jobs.

Consumers can now choose from an array of climate friendly teas ranging from black tea to herbal teas. Furthermore, they offer their tea under Amazon’s Climate Pledge Friendly program, making their teas even more widely available for climate conscious consumers. Revolution Tea continues to further their commitment to climate action, providing consumers with sustainability knowledge, such as offering ways to reuse or dispose of their biodegradable tea bags. Looking ahead, Revolution Tea will also be conducting a corporate carbon footprint in the summer of 2023.
